Business Development Manager

In this role you will:

  • BS/MS with 8+ years of direct sales in a Business Development and Account Management capacity,         or equivalent experience.
  • Direct experience in working with the SaaS industry in a business development or sales role
  • Successful track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.The selected candidate will be responsible to drive business in the assigned territory
  • Develop new business by driving sales in their existing accounts as well as new Accounts
  • Developing and executing account plans to achieve targets: Cold calling, prospecting, qualification, account mapping, and presentations.
  • Effectively utilize Hubspot  tools for pipeline development, tracking opportunity progress (Forecasting), and developing monthly, and quarterly level forecasts.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the selling process - Identify, Qualify, Sell, Close, and Administer.
  • Identify and Generate leads by using networking and other sales tools.
  • Qualify, Sell and Close.
  • Identify key steps to close sales, identify decision makers and influencers, etc.
  • Determine Availability needs and Objectives.
  • Gain agreement of proposed solution / Services, tying back to customer business drivers.
  • Close significant $ sales across multiple Accounts across the assigned territory.
  • Administer: Accurate Forecasting of business & keeping records in the internal systems updated
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to do market assessments and data driven decisions.
  • A history of implementing successful long-term customer partnerships with customers, strong exposure to key Industries such as Agri, FMCG and Industrials
  • Strong leadership skills and self-starter.
  • Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills in English 


You should have:

  • Passion for customers and sustainability
  • Experience selling to customers in the Asean and ANZ
  • Able to work independently and possess excellent communication skills to drive customer and internal engagements.
  • Demonstrate a high ability to influence, evangelize and persuade at both operational and executive level to achieve a targeted business outcome.
  • Ability to implement and accelerate strategic decisions
  • Ability to develop business plans and strategies and effectively deliver value propositions for specific and targeted industries.
  • Demonstrate passion for team work.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the SaaS market and companies there-in and fully understand their business culture and work practices.
  • Active contributor to a dynamic office culture.
  • Fluency in English required.

  • Experience with sustainability
  • Experience in SaaS startup
  • Experience using Hubspot 
  • Experience and contacts in Food and Beverage, Agri and Industrials business
  • Speak another APAC language
