What You'll Be Doing:
  • Cultivate new referrals and generate revenue through prospecting to meet or exceed company’s sales expectations for designated therapeutic service.
  • Maintain existing health care providers/accounts to grow business and market share within assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. - Operations, Marketing, Payer Relations, Trade, and Clinical) to ensure excellent customer service and facilitate resolutions.
  • Deliver existing providers/accounts with solution-oriented updates to address customer needs.
  • Clearly articulate Meijer Specialty Pharmacy (MSP) advantages and benefits to current and prospective health care providers.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy operations team and the supporting Area Business Liaison to ensure superior customer service.
  • Utilize all available approved resources to educate health care providers and staff on the service model, drive brand awareness and results
  • Effectively analyze market trends and the competitive landscapes to best utilize customer data for increasing sales opportunities and maximizing company profit.
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of the market conditions within assigned territory, as well as, the disease states that Meijer Specialty Pharmacy serves.
  • Represent Meijer Specialty Pharmacy at industry meetings and conferences to educate and create brand awareness.

What You Bring With You (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education, training, and years of experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Business to Business (B2B) and/or direct selling in Pharmaceutical/Specialty Rx industry.
  • Must have a self-starting, self-managing, independent work style and ability to excel in a team environment
  • Proven history of driving sales results and achieving goals in live and/or virtual setting.
  • Dedicated to making customer service a priority, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Comply with all legal/regulatory guidelines set forth by the company and all other applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Knowledge of Specialty disease states.
  • Strong understanding of payer landscape.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional environment to provide customer solutions.
  • Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Home office with ability to travel within territory up to 75% of time.

For jobs performing work in California or NYC, the salary range is:
$91,516.53 - $146,604.93
