Senior Analytics Engineer (Remote)
The role:
We are looking to add a Senior Analytics Engineer to our fast-paced and customer-oriented R&D team. The Senior Analytics Engineer will build reporting systems and perform analysis to support the Enterprise group in identifying opportunities to improve our customer-facing data products and measure the impact of those initiatives.
Location: We’re a remote-first company and looking to hire this person anywhere between the PST - EST timezone.

- In the Senior Analytics Engineer role, you will:
- Design, create and own dashboards and reports to clearly convey progress of our most important goals
- Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Data Engineering teams to identify, define, and track key metrics used for monitoring and measuring the success of our data products
- Identify the data needed for key metrics and work with engineering teams to instrument our systems to ensure availability of data
- Perform deep analysis to understand trends and opportunities in our data products and recommend actions to improve them
- Work with data from a variety of sources to perform analysis and build dimensional models for business processes
- Maintain data documentation & definitions
Who you are:
- Strong SQL skills
- Strong Python skills
- Experience in ETL design, data modeling, implementation, and maintenance
- Experience extracting data from various systems (e.g. relational databases, API endpoints, data lakes, data warehouses) and tying this to business meaning
- Ability to perform basic statistical analysis to inform business decisions
- Proven ability to succeed in both collaborative and independent work environments
- High degree of ownership in ambiguous analytical tasks
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working with Data Science teams
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
